First Removal Session...

Hey Everyone!

Im back with my words, on letting you all know how my first laser hair removal went... First of all i'd like to start off by saying how much i was dreading it :-/ i guess i was just nervous as i didn't know what to expect... It was quick! I mean as soon as my therapist took me in she gave me instructions on what i had to do and then she started with the treatment and it was over in about 10-15mins. I started off at the lowest shot, even though it was the lowest setting it didnt feel like it! It is true when people say its like a rubberband bouncing off the skin or even like little pinches... However, because it was so quick i questioned whether they were able to get every hair follicles?? As i didnt feel the shots in every area. I guess i'll have to wait and see what the results are like after a few sessions, and not expect miracles after the first session.

For now beauties i'll stop the rambling here...

Following up on the laser hair removal.....

Hey All,

Hope you are all well, i thought i'd post a quick blog on what happend after my laser hair removal consultation. Well, during the consultation i discussed what area of the body i was considering to have laser hair removal done, they then go through the treatment packs, i had a option for six treatments and then eight treatments. Because i have not had any laser hair removel done they advised me to consider having 8 treatments as this will have better results and surely they would be able to kill all the hair from the roots.

I then went into for a test patch done for safety reasons and they tested four different levels of laser shots, 1st shot didnt even feel, 2nd shot still felt nothing, 3rd shot felt a pinch and then the 4th shot felt like i was using a epilator (pulling at the roots). I personally think i am strong enough for level 3, level 4 would be way toooo painful! The test  patch only took about 30seconds and it was over and done. A sense of relief!!

So i've booked my first appointment in two weeks time, as i have to fit every appointment around my work timetable. Each appointment has a 6 week gap inbetween, so having 8 course done will probably finish by the end of next year...seems for ever when i put in those word!

Overall, i am looking forward to it, to see the results.

Laser Hair Removal...

Hey Beauties...

I haven't updated my blog in ages, just been busy with work and travelling. < My apologies before i start rambling :-)

So recently i have been looking into laser hair removal, because frankly i am tired of getting rid of unwanted hair and i hate putting a razor to my skin. Seeing that its winter and i will be covered up for the next couple of months i thought it would be the perfect time for me to look into laser hair removal.

I recieved an email the other night from one of the most well known skin clinics around... Sk:ns Clinic.
They carry out various treatments from skin problems (acne, scarrings, anti-winkle injections, botox, tatoo removel, facial thread removal, peels and so on...). They also do laser hair removal for practically all areas of the body. So when i saw that they prices have gone down by 25% since August 2011, it sounded much more affordable, for me anyway.

I've tried looking for reviews on laser hair removal for the bikini area but haven't found much :-( so i thought i would start a review with my experience from the very beginning.

I'l start by saying that i have my first consultation at the canary wharf Sk:n clinic the monday coming up. Im guessing from there i will get a better idea of what im letting my self in for.

After the consultation i have to get a test patch done and then the course will beginning.

Once i have been through the consultation i will keep you all updated on the progress and how the experience was for me.

For now i will stop rambling and leave you all....

Take care lovies!

Hey Beauties!

I know the picture isn't so clear, i quickly took a picture with my iphone just before i was heading out. The colours are absolutely lovely!! I think i've selected the perfect colours for me. Well the thing is, i placed my order online, as you may see from the picture above. I hadn't seen any of the colours for real before placing the order, so i was quite specticle...but i have to say i'm pleasantly happy with my order. The kissable lipcolours are also quite nice shades, i haven't tried them on yet, just blogging away here at my workplace...ssshhhhh...hehe.... anyway i cant wait to get home to my box full of joy, lol. But...i have to admit something....i couldnt help regretting that i didnt get the mega metal shadow in 'Unflappable', soo...while i was on the net...i couldn't help popping onto the m.a.c's website and place an order for the mega metal shadow :-/ . NO MORE SHOPPING FOR ME!!! Lol.

January Favourites!

Hey Beauties!

I can't January flew by so quick! This month i have not been extremely experimental because i dont know why but i had quite a bad break out on my cheek recently :( things like that put me off from wearing make-up for layering too much mae-up on.

For skincare my favourites have been:
  • My Clarisonic Mia, which has helped exfoliate the dead skin the benzoyl peroxide has caused for the duration i have been applying it.
  • Benzoyl Peroxide 2.5%, which has helped dry my exisiting break outs and has caused the healing to be much quicker.
  • Origins White Tea cleanser, i've been using this with my mia, i feel as though its gentle enough to cleanse my face when i have break outs, it doesnt irritate my skin and helps it feeling fresh and clean.
  • Origins Modern Fricition Gentle Dermabrasion, i use this once a week to exfoliate just for a deep cleanse.
Make-up wise my favourites have been:
  • For Foundation i've been using my M.A.C Pro  Longwear NC20, i just find this foundation helps cover the acne scars and gives me the coverage i need at the moment.
  • For concealer i've been using my M.A.C Select cover in NW25, great for my under eye circles.
  • For eyeshadows, i've been keeping it neutral and have been using the Too Faced Natural eye kit to change up the eye look.
  • For blush i've been using M.A.C warm soul mineralized blush.
  • For lips i've been using Carmex lip balm and M.A.C Creme D Nude.
These are honestly the only products i have been reaching for this month. Simple and lazy make-up for me, lol.

Whats your favourites for this moth?

Lots of Love....
